Dengue Fever @ Chico Women's Club! 2/12/15

KZFR is proud to present Dengue Fever at the Chico Women's Club on Thursday, February 12th! Tickets are just $15, and you can purchase them online here. Physical tickets are available at Lyon Books in downtown Chico.

Formed in 2001 by brothers Ethan and Zac Holtzman--who were inspired after a trip to Cambodia--Dengue Fever combines psych, surf and soul with vintage Cambodian pop music, to create a genre-bending sound. With a Cambodian lead singer, Chhom Nimol (who sings primarily in Khmer), and a backbone made of American rock 'n' roll, Dengue Fever is worldy, unique and addictive.

We'd be honored if you would vote for us. You'll find us in the Community section of the ballet, of course! There's no Community Radio without You!
To celebrate 35 years of independent community radio, "Mic Check: An Oral History of KZFR" takes listeners behind the scenes of KZFR 90.1 FM’s earliest days.
Youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of the North Valley recently toured the station. Our GM gave them a behind the scenes look at an independent, nonprofit community radio station. Your group could too!
