    Monday, October 8 - Thursday October 18 A Child’s View from Gaza

    An exhibit of artwork by Palestinian children living in the Gaza Strip.** @ CCLC and in display cases at Ayres Hall.

     

    Thurs October 18 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. Continuing the Hope: Closing Program

    Readings from My Name is Rachel Corrie from the diary of Rachel Corrie, and I Shall Not Hate: A Gaza Doctor’s Journey on the Road to Peace and Human Dignity by Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish.

    Refreshments - Traditional Palestinian Cuisine

    Readings of Palestinian poetry through the decades

     

    ** Docents will be available for guided tours of A Child’s View From Gaza. Call Chico Peace and JusticeCenter, 893-9078, to learn the docent schedule and sign up for a scheduled docent time.
