50th Anniversary of "I Have A Dream" Speech Commemoration

    A commemoration marking the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom, during which the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his iconic “I have a  Dream" Speech is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 pm, at the Dorothy Johnson community Center, 775 E. 16th Street in Chico. Participants will march to Martin Luther King Park at 20th Street and East Park Avenue to hear speakers, and sing. Organizers suggest bringing a blanket or chairs.  For more information call  518-9992
