The Chico ACLU Annual Dinner will be held Thursday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the ARC Pavilion on 21st and Park Ave. in Chico. Free to current ACLU members, others may join the ACLU for $20, or $5 for students and low income. Special guest speaker will be Dr. Samuel Walker, expert on police review commissions, citizen committees which review police practices and make recommendations for improvement. Pasta dinner, silent auction, cold drinks and festivities. Also a very brief election of new board members will be held.
