Gateway Science Museum to host Careers in Sports Science event on April 8
Attention high school students: Are you interested in sports? In science? In both? You don’t have to be an amazing athlete to be involved in sports at a professional level. Find out how by attending the special event Careers in Sports Science from 3:30–5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 8, at the Gateway Science Museum.
This event is free for high school students and includes informational Q&A sessions, demonstrations and hands-on activities — all featuring local sports science and medical professionals. Learn about some of the most important disciplines involved in the treatment and care of professional athletes such as kinesiology, physical therapy and sports optometry.
