Frankly Zappa With Shirley

We're excited to announce a new show! Frankly Zappa hosted by Shirley McCoy on the 3rd Tuesdays from 10pm-midnight every month. Frankly Zappa will explore Frank Zappa's vast catalogue of music while also diving into the music of the various prestigious alums to emerge from the various line-ups of the Mothers and collaborators such as Napoleon Murphy Brock, Ike Willis, George Duke, Steve Vai, Terry Bozio, Adrian Belew, Alice Cooper, Captain Beefheart, etc.

"Be sure to tune in on June 18th for the first episode; I'll feature an interview with Napoleon Murphy Brock and some live audio from the Stinkfoot Orchestra show in Nevada City. I love the blues, but Frank Zappa is actually one of my favorites and I thought doing an all Zappa show focused on his music and the music of some of his greatest bandmates and collaborators would be fun and a little bit of a challenge. I'm looking forward to exposing not only our listeners but myself to some more of Zappa's work and beyond." Click the LISTEN button above or tune in 90.1 FM to enjoy the show live. If you miss it live you can still listen on demand in our Archive.
