Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to be part of the KZFR family! My love for radio began in the Bay Area in the early ’60s, glued to KYA 1260 AM. After being swept up in the FM revolution with San Francisco stations KMPX and KSAN, I found that same spirit alive at local station KFM when I landed in Chico in the early ’70s. I was fortunate enough to host a show there in the early ’80s as 'Kid Crash' on the Rockin’ 94.

As a musician, I’ve been part of Chico’s vibrant music scene for decades, performing with Spark ’n’ Cinder, Prairie Biscuit, Road Raisin, The Hats, The Night Knights, Stevie Cook and Friends, Mossy Creek, and many other bands.

I'm most proud of spending 20 years teaching music in Chico schools, inspiring and supporting young musicians as they discover their own voices.
