Chico Police Department chief Mike O'Brien responds to questions surrounding the final report on the Tyler Rushing Office involved shooting prepared and presented by the Butte County District Attorney's Office. We also have statements and follow-up questions with Tyler Rushing's dad Scott Rushing regarding the report and next steps in his family's quest for answers.
We have a report from "Coffee with a Cop" with CPD Police Chief Mike O'Brien based on the observations and notes from roughly 10 citizens, most of them retired, who came to share their concerns and ideas with the police chief at Cal Java Notre Dame on Wednesday morning. We also have Jennifer Silver, the proprietor of two Cal Java locations in Chico with her plans to open a Chico Coffee Company location in downtown in the space currently occupied by Pete's Coffee.
