- Bio
- I'm a local educator and writer--and a huge, life-long fan of the Beatles. It's my pleasure to serve as programmer for Beatle Nation--but the best part about our show is its on-air hosts: Sophie, age 13, and Duncan, age 12--two of the most Beatles-savvy kids you'll meet. Tune in and listen as they select the tunes (from the Beatles-era & the solo careers) & share their thoughts. (P.S. this photo is me in EMI Abbey Road Studio 2, London, where the Fab Four recorded about 90% of their tunes.) Thanks for listening!
- What does community radio mean to you?
- Community radio means access to a wide range of musical styles--stuff you won't hear on commercial radio--as well as news & info on issues of local & national importance, and a wide range of opinions. And DEMOCRACY NOW, quite simply the greatest progressive news program on radio today.
- How did you discover KZFR?
- I've always aimed left of the dial. Glad you found us, too.
- Why do you listen to KZFR?
- KZFR is compelling radio. The DJs have incredibly good taste in music! And the news & opinions are eclectic and wide-ranging.
- When do you listen to KZFR?
- As often as possible.
