The government of Guatemala is targeting Indigenous Community Radio stations: shutting them down, confiscating their equipment, and arresting the volunteers who run them.

‚ÄúCommunity radio is an invaluable tool that strengthens and conserves our languages, culture, traditions, and worldview" explains Maya Mam community radio activist Alma Temaj.

Tell Guatemalan congress to stop the criminalization, marginalization, and discrimination of Indigenous self-expression in Guatemala, and legislate to pass Bill 4087 which would protect community radio under the law.
