Welcome to KZFR 90.1 FM - People Powered Radio!

Thanks to everyone who supported KZFR during our Spring 2008 Membership Drive. If you haven’t yet made your contribution, please make your secure donation online here to assist us in reaching our annual fundraising goals before the end of our fiscal year on June 30th.

Congratulations go out to Kou Lee, winner of the Felt “Propaganda” cruiser bicycle, donated by Campus Bicycles. Thanks again to everyone who sent their contribution by April 15th.

Pledge Drive
Thanks to Campus Bicycles

The variety of voices from the community organizations who generously donated their time to answer the telephones during our membership drive made the sound of our fundraising efforts fun and dynamic. All of our regular programs and these fine volunteers really enhanced the sense of community in our studio. We successfully increased the number of new members - by about 100 - who contribute to their community radio station. Thanks to everyone for helping cultivate community with homegrown radio, KZFR 90.1 FM

Your support is always appreciated and absolutely essential to our on-going day-to-day operations. We’d like to especially thank those who have now signed up for our automatic monthly donation program.  Contact jill@kzfr.org if interested in finding out more about this easy way to support your favorite community radio station. And remember, you can just mail your contribution to KZFR, P.O. Box 3173, Chico, CA 95927 anytime. We do count on all of your incredibly generous support for community radio here in the North Valley. Thank you

2008 is looking to be full of exciting opportunities for community radio. On Saturday, June 21st in partnership with the Living Light Foundation, KZFR will have our annual Touch of Chico fundraising event - with massage, music and food this year at the Chico Grange.

And looking toward early Fall, the San Francisco Mime Troupe will make their third visit to Chico’s Cedar Grove on Sunday, September 21st with their current musical comedy production – Red State, a colorful election year satire.

Thanks again for your ongoing support and remember -- keep your dial tuned to 90.1 FM or listen via our live stream over the internet
