Bidwell Park & Chico Creeks Clean-Up

The Butte Environmental Council (BEC) and the City of Chico are gearing up for this event. Last year over 200 volunteers helped with this cleanup effort, resulting in several tons of garbage and recyclables being pulled from the park and creeks.  Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring gloves and a water bottle, BEC will provide water. All volunteers will be treated to a free BBQ afterwards and there will be a raffle with some great prizes (all volunteers are entered automatically).  BEC is seeking volunteers to help with the planning process, as well as for the day of the event.
