Patrick Ranch Museum Art Exhibition

Location: 10381 Midway Chico
  • 10:00am4:00pm Saturday, October 12, 2013

Fifteen Patrick Ranch Museum Registered Artists are showcasing their agriculturally themed art in the new gift store at Patrick Ranch Museum.

A reception will be held during the Sierra Oro Farm Trails on October 12 from 10am to 4pm. Pumpkins of blown glass, paintings of chickens, cows and rice fields, sculptures and pottery with a country twist,  photographs of landscape, buildings and farm equipment and whimsical bird houses are just a few of the delightful gifts you will find.

You will also see plein air artists dappled about the grounds capturing the essence of fall as they spontaneously express their vision through drawing, painting or photography in the many different views of Patrick Ranch. This wonderful array of fine art will continue to be on display for the Autumn Festival which is open every weekend in October.

The Sierra Oro Farm Trail weekend is the kick-off event for the Patrick Ranch Museum month long Harvest Festival where we share the bounty and heritage of Butte County agriculture by hosting tours of the Glenwood House and grounds where you will see the restoration and changes of this stately ranch. The Autumn Festival would not be complete without a pumpkin patch, hay rides, farm animals, and the gift shop waiting for you to enjoy.

If you have a Sierra Oro passport be sure and make PRM one of your stops on the trail. You do not need a passport to visit the art reception. There is a $5.00 fee for Glenwood Farm House Tours, the pumpkin patch and hay rides.
