A tribute to artist Portia Lyde, featuring much of Lyde's art, which has been in storage for decades and a talk exploring the influences and impact of her work, is scheduled for Thursday, from 6 to 8 pm at the Avenue 9 Gallery, just east of the Esplanade on 9th Avenue.
