Lecture Series presented by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

    A series hour-long lectures on a variety of topics organized by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at California State University Chico are scheduled to occur at the various branches of the Butte County LIbrary on Tuesday afternoon. At the Chico Branch, Robert Main leads a discussion on current Issues with an emphasis on the media, Kirk Berger speaks at the Durham branch on Health Screening: When to Start,  Kay Perkins lectures on Creating Wildlife Habitat at the Gridley branch, Stewart Monroe discusses California’s Magnificent Geology, at the Oroville branch and Claire Braz-Valentine delivers a talk entitled A Life Behind the Words at the Paradise branch. All of the lectures are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 5 pm. For more information call 898-5858
