Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

A series of lectures, sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will occur at various Butte County Library branches Tuesday June18th as part of the Because You Asked! speaker series. Stewart Monroe will deliver a talk entitled California’s Magnificent Geology, at the Chico branch, Roy Cook talks about how to find a good book at the Durham branch, Yvette Small delivers a talk called The Maximum You at the Gridley branch, Robert Main talks about current issues with an emphasis on the media at the Oroville branch, and Jim Johnson delivers A Bar Stool History of the Paradise Ridge at the paradise branch. All lectures are scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
