Orthodox Pascha
This past Sunday the Orthodox church celebrated Pascha, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This is often called the feast of feasts because behind it is the reason we are Christians, the belief in Christ rising from the dead and in the end he will raise us up with himself. At the beginning of lent we begin with Adam and Eve being cast from paradise and with Pascha we end with Adam and Eve being brought out of Hades and into Paradise again. It is a journey we take each year as orthodox Christians the world over.
