Jim Hightower in Chico for KZFR Fundraiser

Popular (even though he's from Texas!) populist Jim Hightower, writer and radio commentator, will be coming to Chico on Thursday Oct. 7th. Hightower will mozey up and settle in at the ARC Pavillion, 2040 Park Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. He'll speechify, sign books, and mingle and rub elbows with the locals. To make everybody feel at home, Dave Guzzetti will be providin' the grub which can be washed down with local brew. This is a fund-raiser for KZFR and for the ARC of Butte County. Tickets are $12 and you can fetch them at KZFR and at the ARC Stores in Chico and Oroville.
