Hello Listeners!

Summer is here and the water is fine!   I hope everyone is staying cool and having a lovely time.

This Saturday, 7/17th at 6:30 PM on my show "LA Sounds" (from 5 to 7:30 PM streamed live on kzfr.org) I'll be reading from my story how my girlfriend Cathy had the baby and we had to decide whether we were going to keep the baby and get married or break up and put the baby up for adoption (which seemed to be the only choices available at the time).

Here's a little something fun for everybody. When I return to Face the Music in August, I'll be featuring Emma's Revolution in an interview they recorded with Creativity Radio. It's a program called, "Art of the Song."

I had a wonderful time at the Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival in Laytonville, CA. This event happens each June. There were lots of great women artists this year. Rosalie Sorrels, Blame Sally, Carrie Rodriguez, Po' Girls, Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, Blushin' Roulettes, and Chico's own, Ma Muse. If you love great folk music, I definitely recommend you check this event out.
