Animal Matters will focus on how human behavior impacts animals, including choices we make about our food, the products we buy, and our financial investments. The format of the show will include commentary from your host, Sarah Downs, as well as information on how you can help. On tomorrow's Animal Matters, I'll be having a conversation with Arathi Jayaram, Mercy for Animal's Director of Operations. We'll be talking about the recent undercover footage released showing abhorrent abuse at Conklin Dairy Farms in Plain City, OH. We'll talk about some of the abuses shown in the video footage, what comes next in their investigation, and more about the dairy industry.
On tomorrow’s Animal Matters, I’ll be having a conversation with Peter Petersan, Deputy Director of Animal Protection Litigation with The Humane Society of the United States. Recently, The HSUS filed a lawsuit against Hudson Valley Foie Gras for violating the Clean Water Act. HSUS won that lawsuit. Peter and I will be talking about that lawsuit as well as how foie gras is produced.
